Menstrual Hygiene Day, celebrated on May 28th, aims to break the silence and stigma surrounding menstruation while advocating for access to menstrual products and proper hygiene education. Menstrual Hygiene Day isn’t just about raising awareness; it’s a battle cry against the period taboo and a call to action for governments, organizations, and individuals to women have access to affordable menstrual products, proper sanitation facilities, and education on menstrual health.
We pride ourselves in standing in the gap for women and young girls and pushing the conversation beyond boardrooms to living the drive by offering free menstrual hygiene products to women living in slums across Kenya for free and being part of the change makers ,changing the world, one policy at a time – legislative milestones are paving the way for equitable access to menstrual products and breaking down the barriers that perpetuate menstrual poverty.
